Beyond the Classroom Walls: Using Web 2.0 to Enhance Student Collaboration – FETC 2010

I met Catalina and Michelle at our Tweet Up during FETC and had a great conversation about their “Beyond the Classroom Walls” presentation. So much so that I had to attend their session and had to talk with them further about it the next day. Take a quick minute to watch them briefly chat about their presentation.

I think the point to really drive home from Catalina and Michelle’s presentation is collaborate, collaborate, collaborate! As they’ve demonstrated , using web 2.0 tools like blogs, wikis, social bookmarking, and social networking can be used to encourage world language students (OR any subject for that matter) to go beyond the classroom walls.

How do you encourage your students to go beyond the classroom walls?

The presentation was really nice and I have to admit that they are very good in what they are doing. Cazare Predeal
